When I'm not photographing a wedding or an engagement session, you can find me snuggling with my cat or at my computer with coffee in hand. I am mostly known for the passion and heart I put into everything I do, especially with my clients. I absolutely love getting to know my couples throughout the year; helping their wedding visions come to life.
I'm a total introvert and love spending my weekends and evenings working or binging the latest Netflix show. This might come as a shock if you knew me in college because I used to be a social butterfly. People often refer to me as Tiny Tina, because yes, you guessed it, I'm short.
I love serving the world by capturing genuine love, and candid moments between the people on the other side of my lens. Since I began photographing weddings, my faith has deepened and I've put all my trust in God. I truly believe my clients turn into family, and I can’t wait to add more love to the Christina Ney Photography Family!
I've photographed couples in 5 different states and am always planning my next adventure.
Adding dozens of new clients each year and loving every single couple.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Management from Loras College, with additional hours at workshops nationwide.
Growing up, my family always took a trip to Steamboat, CO at least once a year; mostly to take on the double black diamonds. Last year, I had the opportunity to travel Montana and Washington State where I had was able to explore Glacier National Park and Seattle. I fell in love with hiking; it's empowering to choose the path and work hard to make it to the final destination. I have a goal to visit every national park in the US! I also dream of living in Colorado.
Meet Meka! One spontaneous day in May June I decided to take a trip to the Humane Society and just look at the kittens, it's safe to say I shouldn't be allowed there unsupervised. I brought home this sweet little girl.
She was 3 lbs when I got her but is now a little chunker at a whopping 6.2 lbs and growing! Her original name was Speedy, and I didn't understand why until I brought her home. She is a fast little stinker.
She likes sleeping on our big dog bed, biting my ears in the morning to wake up and feed her, and hiding in my hamper. She keeps me on my toes!
I recently invested in a 27in iMac, and I think I'm in love. I'm a sucker for a crisp display and the latest technology. Still have to get my hands on a new phone, but I'm being patient.
Do I even have to explain my love for coffee? It's not that I need more energy, it's the fact that it keeps me warm and toasty.
I live for Jesus and a good gut-laugh. The kind that makes my sides hurt and my smile so big you can no longer see my eyes.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me drinking one of my homemade chai tea lattes with a friend, brainstorming how to better introduce people to the fulfillment that comes from knowing Christ, surfing Facebook market for a new piece of furniture to refurbish, or chasing around my three little "saint-makers."
I want to capture your authentic smile-- the one comes out when you see your other half for the first time on your wedding day, that breaks across your face when you're telling me all about how you met, the one you can't contain when you're dancing to "your song" as husband and wife for the first time.
I seek to bring joy, capture joy and share joy.
"She is so fun to work with and makes you and your partner feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She perfectly illustrated the feeling of love on our big day and that is something I will forever be grateful for. I would highly recommend her, not only for her incredible photography skills, but also for her professionalism, timeliness, organization.
"We couldn't be happier with choosing to work with Christina for our wedding day. Everything was fun, enjoyable, and our gallery turned out phenomenal. From the engagement sessions, to our fall mini session, and our wedding day, everything was done in a professional and timely manner. We Highly recommend Christina Ney Photography. You will not regret it."
"Christina traveled across the country to be part of our special day! The best thing about her being our photographer, was seeing how freaking excited she was to do her job! It is very apparent that she is passionate about what she does and we loved seeing her share in our joy! It makes it that much more special to know that the person who is capturing some of the most precious moments of your life, is just as invested in your love as you are!!"
She makes a point of meeting you in person/via Skype to get to know you as a couple and get a feel for your vision on your wedding day. She plans your day-of timeline which is a huge stress reliever. She has an amazing wedding guide that helps you pick vendors, tips on planning your big day, and great photos that show off her photography style. On top of all that, she becomes an amazing friend.
